Kaleidoscope of Colour Original Abstract Mixed Media Collage Art
16 x 16 x 2 inches
Mixed media collage on a wood panel
When I first started creating back in 2009, I was making one-of-a-kind notebooks, and the covers of each book were created using torn paper. I often used scrapbook-style paper and ripped it up and collaged it into my own version to create the art. The torn paper represents life, the fray of the torn edge is the bumpy part of life. The final result is the beauty that can be found within those bumpy parts. The torn edges of life are beautiful.
As my art evolved, my style changed, and for this original painting, I used my own abstract art that I created on paper and tore it up to create this new abstract mixed media collage.
”Kaleidoscope of Colour” has many layers and creates beautiful textures and reminds me of looking through a kaleidoscope.
As with all my original art, this piece will arrive to you sealed and ready to hang.
Materials used: wood panel, paper, matte medium, mod podge, drywall tape
