This highly textured abstract torn paper collage represents the colour that pops through our darkest times and the grittiness of life. Sometimes, glimpses of color tell us that everything will be okay. Colour represents life. When creating this piece I wanted the colour to come through using etchings in the paint, texture from not only my hand-painted papers but through my torn-up hand-painted canvas with the strings exposed representing raw emotion.
