Eye Of The Hurricane Original Abstract Mixed Media Collage Art
8 x 8 x 1.5 inches
mixed media collage on a wood panel
The eye of the hurricane is typically the calm part of the hurricane. Although this original mixed media collage is full of texture and playfulness allows the eye that is visible to be a calming spot.
Created on a wood panel the first step was to create a colourful abstract design on paper. Once that step was completed I took white watercolour paper and that beautiful finished abstract and ripped it up to create this playful design. The entire surface of the wood panel is covered in paper. The colourful parts are my abstract work.
Materials used: watercolour paper, mixed media papers, acrylic paints, inks, pencil, drywall tape, wood panel, matte medium, Mod Podge, wire for the back and sealant
All my original works will arrive to you signed, dated, sealed and ready to hang for a lifetime of enjoyment.
